Russell Hayhurst, M.D., is a board certified ophthalmologist fellowship trained in glaucoma. He specializes in medical treatment and surgery for patients with glaucoma and treats both children and adults. Dr. Hayhurst obtained his bachelor's degree from Pomona College and his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Hayhurst completed his internship in 1990 at Hermann Hospital in Houston. Following this, he completed a residency in ophthalmology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. He subsequently completed a glaucoma fellowship at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Hayhurst has been involved with clinical studies regarding several glaucoma medications. Dr. Hayhurst and his wife, Rebecca, have two children. |
