Dr. Martinez is a board certified ophthalmologist and is fellowship trained in vitreo-retinal surgery. He specializes in medical laser surgical treatment of patients with diseases of the retina. Dr. Martinez received his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984 where he graduated with honors. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas in 1988. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1992. Subsequent to that, he completed his fellowship training in vitreo-retinal surgery at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, in 1993. |
