Dr. Pierce is a board certified ophthalmologist and is fellowship trained in vitreo-retinal surgery. He specializes in medical laser and surgical treatment of patients with disease of the retina. Dr. Pierce received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed his residency at Texas Tech University and, subsequent to this, completed a fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery at the Scheie Eye Institute in Philadelphia. |
